You and I real...</title><content type='html'>Hi Sara,&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Thanks for the endorsement. You and I really are of the same mind when it comes to the DCP. I must admit I am not totally guilt free. I remember feeling like I cheated once by delivering an educational and having it count as a manual speech. I also felt a little bit of guilt by doing my HPL by organizing a Charter Party - it felt too safe. This has nothing to do with DCP per se, but it reminds me that if the District "Leadership" demonstrates a lack of integrity with DCP, it leads to a general lack of integrity in all of our Toastmaster pursuits. Too many people are so worried about the check box, the title, the recognition that they have forgotten why they joined Toastmasters in the first place. Gee, when I joined I had no idea what a CTM/CC was, I just wanted to learn how to say my name in front of people without having a panic attack.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/13645798/8746755239704391449/comments/default/8702621730131281360'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/13645798/8746755239704391449/comments/default/8702621730131281360'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://ah-um-er.blogspot.com/2008/11/dcp-problems-again.html?showComment=1227663240000#c8702621730131281360' title=''/><author><name>Bill Bishop</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/18040902881083106596</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://ah-um-er.blogspot.com/2008/11/dcp-problems-again.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13645798.post-8746755239704391449' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/13645798/posts/default/8746755239704391449' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
